Moses and the Exodus


The Exodus was the exiting of Egypt. Moses ler all the Isrealities out of Egypt. Several hundred years after the narratives of Jacob, Esau, Joseph and his brothers, the Bible recounts the key story of the Exodus, which marked the emergence of Moses (pbuh) as the greatest Old Testament figure.
Many sites and incidents in Jordan are associated with the story of Moses and the Exodus route, linking his departure from Egypt with his final moments and death on the summit of Mount Nebo. The Bible gives several different Exodus itineraries through the lands of Edom and Moab (Numbers 21, 33; Deuteronomy 2; Judges 11:12-22).

The 10 commandments


The 10 commandments, or Decalogue are list of religious and moral imperatives that, according to the hebrew bible were spoken by God to the people of Israel from the mountain reffered to as Mt. Sinai or Horeb. And later authored by God and given to Moses in the form of two stone tablets.

In Judaism, the Ten Commandments are associated with the religious instructions outlined in the Torah, which is the first set of books in the Hebrew Bible.


The Quran




The Quran is a collection of the teachings of Muhammad. The Quran is a book in which all his teachings and massages are written in. Muslims belief that they are the exact words that god told to Muhammad they also belief that it is the verbal book to all there guidence and directions that they should consider as the words of God.


Muslims belief that there is no other god than god and Muhammad is its prophet. Muslims belief that Muhammad is there prophet because he was the founder of Islam and he was the massager of god and his prophet. A prophet is a man who has been called by god to speek for him and to be his masseger.

The story of Abraham


Abraham is considered the father of God's people and he is mentioned in the book of Hebrews as a man of faith. Abraham's name mean father of many. God made Abraham a promise that if he was faithful, he would be the father of many. Abraham believed and did as God told him.
They say that once God had told Abraham to sacrfice His son and kill him.

The Five Pillars of Islam


The Five Pillars of Islam are the five acts of workship requiered of all Muslims. The Five Pillars include the statement of faith which is the first out of the five pillars. Muslims must say "there is no god but God, and muhammad is his prophet." muslims say this when they accept Islam and on there daily prayers.

The second Pillar is daily prayer in which muslims have to pray five times a day they do this before sunrise, midday, late on the afternoon, right after sunset, and before they go to bed. Muslims pray in a mosque which is a building for muslims prayers.

The third Pillar of Islam is to donate to charity. Muslims must pay part of there wealth to a religious official which than help the poor, build mosques, or pay depts.

The fourth Pillar of Islam fasting going with out food or drinks during the month of Ramadan between dawn and sunset. Muslims believe that fasting is a way of showing that god is more important than once body.

The five Pillar of Islam is the Hajj which is the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in there life all muslims should travel to The Kaaba, in Mecca which is the most sacred place for Islams.
